How to Factory Reset a Snom Phone

Factory Reset Your Snom Phones

Follow the steps below to factory reset your Snom device in order to bring back the factory default settings. This must be done before provisioning your snom phone in case the device has residual settings of a previous configuration.

Factory Reset Your Snom Phone D1, D3, 7, D7 and D8

  1. Power off the device
  2. Press, hold the “#” key and power on the device
  3. Keep holding the “#” button until the message “Rescue Mode” appears:

  1. Select the “1. Setting reset” option, by pressing the number “1” on the phone
  2. After the restart, your phone will be successfully reset

Factory Reset Your Snom MeetingPoint Phone

  1. Power off the device
  2. Press and hold the “3rd” button (below the display) and power on the device
  3. Keep holding button until the message “Rescue Mode” appears:

  1. Select the 1st option  “Settings reset”, by pressing the number “1” on the phone
  2. After the restart, your phone will be successfully reset

Factory Reset Your Snom C520 Phone

  1. Press the Menu key
  2. Type 07#*1850#
  3. After the restart, your phone will be successfully reset

Factory Reset Your Snom 300, 320, 360, 370 Series Phone

If the phone is not new and has been connected to another PBX system, you have to reset it first:

  1. Press in the following order:
  1. *
  2. Volume UP
  3. *
  4. Volume DOWN
  5. #

Snom 320 IP Phone

  1. The phone will reboot and will be successfully reset.

Factory Reset Your Snom H Series Phones

HD100 & HD101 (on the base)

  1. Hold Vol+ for more than 5 seconds
  2. Press Vol-
  3. Press Vol+
  4. Press Vol-
  5. Press Vol+
  6. Press Vol-
  7. Press SpeedDial Key 1 [BS1]
  8. Press SpeedDial Key 2 [BS2]
  9. Press SpeedDial key 1 [BS1]
  10. You will hear a short confirmation sound and the device will reboot to the factory default state.

HD350W & HD351W

  1. Dial: * 9 9 0 0 0 0 # on the base
  2. You will hear a short confirmation sound and the device will reboot to the factory default state

HM201

  1. Hold the reset button on the rear side of the base for at least 10 seconds
  2. Release the button and the base will now reset to the factory default state

Factory Reset Your Snom SP800 Phones

  1. Hold the reset button on the rear side of the device for at least 5 seconds, until the green light on the front turns off.
  2. Release the button and the base will now reset to the factory default state.
