Configuring a Vodafone SIP Strategic Trunk

Step 1 - Configuring your SIP Trunk with 3CX

1. Go to the 3CX Web client and follow the guide on how to configure a SIP trunk.
2. The outbound proxy should have the following format “XXX.XX.entvoice.vodafone.co.uk” where XXX.XX is unique to each customer.
3. Enter the main trunk number as E.164. For example +441234567890

Step 2: Enable Clip No Screening Outbound Caller ID

Vodafone SIP Strategic Trunks support Clip No Screening. It means you can present any number as Outbound Caller ID. Clip No Screening can be enabled through the Vodafone Portal by selecting Presentation number type 3 under the Service features tab.
