Configuring a Backbone Solutions AG SIP Trunk

Step 1: Configuring your SIP Trunk with 3CX

Go to the 3CX Web client and follow the guide on how to configure a SIP trunk.

Step 2: Special Configurations

Additional DIDS

DIDs are registered to each trunk individually. You can find the Username and password under “Phone Numbers”  by clicking on the trunk main number.

To add multiple DIDs to a single trunk account you need to create a trunk in the Sipcall portal. Navigate to “Products” /  "sip trunk" and create a new trunk.

+E164 number format

To enable +E164 for your trunk numbers, navigate to the sipcall portal "Phone Numbers" and click on the trunk main number. Now click on the "Caller Display" and edit it.

You have now the possibility to change the incoming format to "+e164". After that, click on the save button and you are ready to go. (it might take up to 5 minutes to apply.)

All Incoming Calls are now displayed with +E164 Format.
