Configuring a Brightstar SIP Trunk with 3CX
Step 1: Configuring your SIP Trunk with 3CX
- Go to the 3CX Web client and follow the guide on how to configure a SIP trunk.
- Enter the main trunk number as E164. For example +441234567890
Step 2: Optional TLS setup
- Download the necessary root certificate needed for authentication. You can download the certificate from this link. The certificate is in zip form and will need to be extracted.
- Under General change your registrar to “sbc-005.brightstar.cloud” and enable the option “Auto Discovery.
- Navigate to the Options tab and enable the SRTP option.
- Switch the Transport Protocol to TLS.
- Scroll to the top of the page and press OK. You should now see your Brightstar trunk appear as registered.
